Evangeline

I was born and grew up in South Africa. I moved to Britain as an adult, lived for a time in the Middle East, and I'm now based in France. I have a degree in English Literature from the University of London. My family were all voracious readers – you could say books were a family passion. As time went on, for me this interest translated into a love of writing as well and some of my efforts can be seen on this site.   In 2006 I was fortunate enough to win the Swift Society Poetry Prize and the poem I submitted can also be found here.   I write under my own name and also on a variety of subjects under various pen names.Enough about me - about the books -:My books are arranged in different areas, as you'll find in the menu at the top of the page. I hope this will make it easier to find the books of most interest to you.  Just browse about and see if anything takes your fancy. Welcome to my site, hope you enjoy your visit and come again soon!   Evangeline

Thanks for letting me look at your blog and see your videos.

I wish you well in your enterprise.

  2. Hi Evangeline
Your website looks interesting and well thought out.

Allow me to give some constructive criticism:

Your site will be quite transformed if you have a good header made up. The white Heading looks OK against the dark background, but to me it looks unfinished, perhaps amateurish.

Good for the opt-in box – it will help you build a list if you can draw visitors in. To that end, I would suggest you start making it more interactive by posting relevant articles/material that will attract visitors.

Hope your Aussie trip went off well!

    Beau

    • Sorry, just to clarify that I mean your static front page needs more content :) (No reflection on the other content, in fact, your using videos is great (ever thought of posting them on YouTube and then link back to this site for more traffic?).

  3. I always find it interesting reading about other people’s lives. You are doing a great job Evangeline.

Hi, i just purchased your seven fables book. Can you tell me what country each fable is from? I am particularly looking for one from Nicaragua. Thanks!

Hi, Thank you for buying the Seven Fables book. The fables are all original, they are not from any particular country. Perhaps if you Google for it you might come up with what you are looking for. Good luck.
